The POWER project has conducted regional supply chain studies for the offshore wind industry in four North Sea regions. Based on these regional studies, a North Sea wide supply chain study has been conducted, giving a complete North Sea overview of the key challenges and co-operation opportunities in the internationall offshore wind supply chain.
The supply chain studies cover the whole supply chain, i.e. development, construction and operation. The studies also identify major challenges for the supply chain when moving to future more difficult wind farms.
North Sea wide supply chain study, conducted by Douglas-Westwood Ltd
A supply chain study for the whole Southern North Sea, bringing together the findings of regional supply chain studies. Also contains brief assessments of all planned and operational offshore wind farms and all ports suitable for the offshore wind industry within the Southern North Sea region.

The study was first presented on 30 March 2006 to a Business Breakfast in Lowestoft, UK, in front of an audience of 100 experts, including international POWER partners and regional businesses.
